    Improved clamp

    The Lock Body Clamp is far superior to the standard specialty nut that comes with the CRC system. It is so easy and fast to install. I would recommend this system and the CRC rod carrier - both are major innovations over other products on the market.

    These are a must have! Not for security, but to easily mount/dismount the carrier without tools. It does add the security factor too!

    Well worth it

    Have 3 of the rod carriers. 2 sets of lock body clamps. Lock body clamps are so much easier and quicker to use.
    Only one small concern with one of the locks. Key and lock are difficult to operate. Possibly metal shavings in the lock. WD-40 helped but the lock doesn’t work as smoothly as the other 3. Still well worth the it.

    Rod holder locks

    These are much easier to use than the safety nut on the CRC. With these locks I have no worries about my CRC walking off while I'm out on the water.
