The BWO Spent fly is composed of foam, mixed dubbing, and Z-lon. The fly mimics a "spent" mayfly that has fallen to the water's surface after using its energy during reproduction. As the insects lay on the surface they slowly struggle, which gets the attention of opportunistic trout. For best results, add a twitch to mimic a struggling BWO.
